i know. the first girl looks like urban outfitters trendz gone bad. the 2nd girl is from the sartorialist website so you know - obviously much more pulled together / expensive!
the top girl looks like she just stepped out of Ghost World; that being said, change the face/hair and we've got a hot mess/winner? the second girl looks like she'd be no fun to hang out with.
yeah, i'm sorry to say it, but i've never seen a girl pull off over-the-knee socks without looking super pretentious and dumb. over-the-knee socks say to me "i wish i was zooey deschanel" and "i'm a little bit quirky! tee hee!"
both of these girls look bad and like they're trying too hard. especially the first one. nice haircut.
come on people! this would be great to wear soon when you don't want to commit to pants and still have skirts but don't want to bring out the leggings or the jeggings.
